Delegation cards

Achiral AI is a privacy-first collaborative AI platform for businesses, built on enterprise-grade, self-hosted, compliance-ready infrastructure. Delegation cards are short, actionable suggestions your personal EA surfaces in the workspace — things it thinks you should hand off rather than do manually. Each card is one tap to accept or dismiss.

Where to find it

Delegation cards live in the Delegations tab of your workspace (https://{your-slug}.achiral.aiDelegations). The tab shows the "No suggestions right now. Check back later!" empty state when your EA has nothing queued.

What it does

  • Surfaces AI-suggested actions your EA thinks are worth delegating — not random reminders, but specific items tied to real activity.
  • Shows Accept and Dismiss buttons on every card so you can triage in seconds.
  • Colour-codes each card by action type so you can scan the list and prioritise.
  • Moves accepted tasks into a conversation with your EA where the actual work happens.

The seven delegation types

Every card has a type indicated by its icon and colour.

  • Draft reply (blue). Your EA thinks a specific message needs a response and offers to draft it. Example: "Draft a reply to Priya's email about the Q2 plan."
  • Request info (purple). Your EA needs more context to help. Example: "Share the latest pricing sheet so I can answer vendor questions."
  • Summarize (green). Your EA offers to condense a document, thread, or meeting. Example: "Summarize yesterday's 90-minute product review."
  • Schedule (orange). Your EA can book or propose a meeting. Example: "Schedule the candidate debrief for Thursday afternoon."
  • Remind (purple). Your EA will ping you or a teammate at the right time. Example: "Remind me to check in with Sana before Friday's release."
  • Research (indigo). Your EA will dig into a question and come back with findings. Example: "Research whether competitor X has a HIPAA BAA."
  • Custom (purple). A type your EA composed on the fly that doesn't fit the categories above. Usually richer and more specific.

How to use it

Accept a delegation

  1. Read the card — title, description, and action type.
  2. Click Accept. The card disappears from your stack.
  3. A conversation opens (or the work runs in the background) and your EA starts executing. You can track progress in EA Activity or in the conversation itself.

Dismiss a delegation

  1. Click Dismiss. The card disappears and your EA stops suggesting that specific item.
  2. Your EA learns from repeated dismissals — if you dismiss all "Remind" cards for a week, the rate drops.

Review dismissed cards

Dismissed cards don't come back automatically. If you want to see what you skipped, open a chat with your EA and ask "Show me the delegations I dismissed this week." Your EA can resurface them with context.

Wait for more

If the stack is empty, your EA is still observing. New cards appear as new activity arrives — a fresh inbox thread, a stalled task in Linear, a calendar conflict, a document someone shared with you.

What to expect

  • Cards are personal. Only you see your delegation stack. Your teammates each get their own.
  • Accept is not undo-able. Once you accept a card, your EA starts work. You can still edit or cancel via the resulting conversation, but the card itself doesn't come back.
  • Dismiss is reversible for that day. Re-ask your EA in chat and it can bring back today's dismissed items. After 24 hours, they're out of scope.
  • Cards respect your policies. If your organization has configured approval workflows (for example, "emails require review before sending"), accepting a delegation creates a draft for you to approve — it doesn't auto-send.

Common questions

Why did my EA suggest this specific delegation?

Your EA pulls suggestions from recent activity in your connected tools and your private conversations. The card usually references the source item directly. Open a chat with your EA and ask "Why did you suggest this?" for a fuller explanation.

Can I accept all cards at once?

Not currently. Bulk accept would bypass the review step on sensitive action types (like sending emails or creating calendar events), so we only support one-at-a-time acceptance today.

Do delegations count toward my quota?

Accepting a delegation kicks off inference work, which counts toward your tier's token-per-hour quota. See Pricing for the limits.

Can I turn delegation cards off?

Yes. Go to Settings → Assistant → Suggestions and toggle the delegation engine off. Your EA still responds when you ask directly — it just stops surfacing unsolicited suggestions.

What if I disagree with my EA's suggestion?

Dismiss it. Over time your EA adjusts. You can also tell it directly ("Stop suggesting reminders for Slack threads") in any chat and that guidance sticks.

  • Today's Brief — the daily summary in the Tasks tab; items there often map to delegations here.
  • Meet Chiro and your EA — why it's your EA making these suggestions, not Chiro.
  • EA Activity — track what happened after you accepted.
  • Capabilities — the engineering view of what assistants can do.
