Inviting teammates

Achiral AI is a privacy-first collaborative AI platform for businesses, built on enterprise-grade, self-hosted, compliance-ready infrastructure. Bringing your team into your workspace is the step that turns Achiral from a single-user assistant into a collaborative AI product. This page covers the two ways to invite, the three roles you can assign, and what happens on the other side.

Where to find it

There are two entry points to invite teammates:

  • The Invite banner. After your first successful EA action, a banner appears in your workspace: "Your EA is ready — invite your team." Click Invite on the banner.
  • Organization settings. Go to your organization settings page → Members tab, then click Invite Member. This is the path admins use most.

Both open the same Invite teammates modal.

What it does

  • Sends a magic-link invitation by email to one or more people at once.
  • Assigns each invitee a role (Member, Developer, or Admin) that controls what they can do.
  • Lets you add an optional personal message that shows up in the invite email.
  • Automatically provisions a personal EA for every accepted invite.

The three roles

  • Member. Can use Chiro and their own personal EA, chat with teammates, accept delegations, upload documents. This is the default for most users.
  • Developer. Member permissions plus the ability to configure connectors, access the API, and manage fine-tuning jobs. Choose this for anyone on a technical team who will integrate tools or build on Achiral.
  • Admin. Everything Developer can do plus member management, billing access, compliance controls, and organization-wide settings. Give this to org owners and operations leaders who manage the account.

Roles can be changed later from the Members tab of your organization settings.

How to use it

Invite one person

  1. Click Invite on the banner, or go to Settings → Team → Invite teammates.
  2. In the modal, type the teammate's work email.
  3. Pick a role — Member, Developer, or Admin.
  4. Optionally add a short personal message that will appear in the invite email ("Hey Priya, joining the ops workspace to help with patient comms").
  5. Click Send invite. A toast confirms it was sent.

Invite multiple people at once

  1. Open the modal the same way.
  2. Paste multiple emails into the email field, separated by commas, semicolons, or spaces. Examples that all work:
    • priya@hiver.example.com, sana@hiver.example.com
    • priya@hiver.example.com; sana@hiver.example.com
    • priya@hiver.example.com sana@hiver.example.com
  3. Pick a role. Every invitee in this batch gets the same role — run multiple batches if you need different roles.
  4. Click Send invites.

The toast tells you how many went out successfully. Invalid addresses come back with a clear error so you can fix and retry.

Track pending invites

Pending invitations are listed inline in the Members tab of your organization settings. Each entry shows the invitee's email, the date invited, the days remaining, and their assigned role. You can Resend any invite that is at least 1 day old directly from that list.

Remove someone who already accepted

Only admins can remove teammates from the Members tab of your organization settings. Removing a teammate disables their personal EA and revokes their workspace access. Their prior messages remain visible to other participants.

What to expect

  • Invitees click a magic link. No password to set up. They land directly in the workspace after verifying their email.
  • Each new teammate gets a personal EA automatically. The EA is assigned a name from the friendly name pool (Casey, Avery, Blake, Jordan, Kai, and more) and provisions within 2–3 minutes of first sign-in.
  • The new teammate inherits your organization's connectors and knowledge. They can start chatting with Chiro immediately. Their own EA needs a short time to warm up before it can write their first Today's Brief.
  • Invites are bound to a specific email. Forwarding the magic link doesn't let someone else sign in.
  • Invites expire. Default expiry is 7 days. Resend from the Invitations page if needed.

Common questions

Can anyone on my team invite others?

Only admins and owners can invite teammates. The Invite Member button is only shown to admin-level users in the organization settings.

Does the invite respect our SSO?

Yes. If your organization has SSO configured (Okta, Auth0, Azure AD, Google Workspace, SAML 2.0), the invitee is routed through SSO after the magic-link step. See Security & compliance for supported providers.

Can I invite someone with a personal email (Gmail, Outlook)?

Technically yes, but most organizations restrict invites to verified work domains for compliance. Domain allowlist enforcement is an organization-level configuration; contact your admin.

What if the invite never arrives?

Ask the invitee to check spam, then use Resend from Settings → Team → Invitations. If the problem persists, check that your email domain isn't blocking messages from no-reply@achiral.ai.

Do invited users count toward my tier's seat limit?

Only accepted invites count against your seat count. Pending and expired invites don't. See Pricing for the team-size range of each tier.
