Work context

The second panel in Assistant Settings (/settings/assistant, Briefcase icon). Describe who you are and what you do, and the values here flow into your Executive Assistant (EA)'s system prompt on every message.

Fields

All five are optional, all free-text.

  • Full Name — display name. Up to 100 chars. Placeholder "Your full name".
  • Designation — job title. Up to 100 chars. Placeholder "e.g., Senior Product Manager".
  • Role at Work — short description of your role, team, and focus areas. Textarea, up to 500 chars with a live N/500 counter.
  • Assistant Name (Optional) — display name for your EA. Up to 50 chars. Placeholder "e.g., Alex, Sam, or leave blank for default". Blank falls back to the name assigned at provisioning.
  • Delegation Boundaries — what you're comfortable delegating, and what needs your approval. Textarea, up to 500 chars with counter.

Click Save Settings to persist. The save covers every panel in Assistant Settings at once.

Text is echoed verbatim into the EA's system prompt, so keep it concise — long descriptions crowd out context space. Assistant Name is a display preference; it does not rename the underlying assistant record.

FAQ

Does editing Role at Work reset my EA's memory? No. This is an instruction field. It shapes future responses; it doesn't touch the Weaviate tenant or conversation history.

How specific should Delegation Boundaries be? Specific. "You can draft client emails but always show them to me before sending. You can schedule meetings freely for next week and beyond; anything sooner, ask me first." A clear boundary reduces over- and under-reach.

What if I leave Full Name blank? Your EA falls back to the session user name or the local part of your email.
