Team Directory

Achiral AI is a privacy-first collaborative AI platform for businesses, built on enterprise-grade, self-hosted, compliance-ready infrastructure. The Team Directory is the full, paginated listing of everyone in your organization — with their role, their EA's name, and their EA's status. It's the page to reach for when Assemble Team feels too compact.

Where to find it

You can open the Team Directory three ways:

  • Click View all → at the right edge of the Assistants row in Assemble Team (appears when your team has more than 7 pairs).
  • Click the Team tab in the workspace tab bar.

What it does

  • Lists every active teammate in the organization who has completed onboarding, 24 per page, sorted alphabetically.
  • Shows each teammate's name, job title or role, avatar, and their EA's status (active, provisioning, inactive).
  • Lets you search by name, email, job title, or EA name.
  • Lets you start a chat directly from a row — with the teammate, their EA, or both, if your organization has cross-EA messaging enabled.

How to use it

Find a teammate

  1. Open the Team Directory from View all → or the left navigation.
  2. Type into the search box. The list filters as you type — matches in name, email, job title, and EA name all count.
  3. If your team spans multiple pages, paginate with the controls at the bottom.

Check someone's EA status

Each row shows the EA status next to the teammate:

  • EA Active — their EA is ready and can be pulled into a conversation.
  • Setting up... — their EA is being provisioned (usually 2–3 minutes after first sign-in).
  • No EA — the EA is disabled or the teammate hasn't been issued one.

Start a conversation from the directory

  1. Find the teammate's row. A Message icon button appears on the right.
  2. Click it to open a 1-on-1 chat with that teammate. If their EA is active, a separate button lets you open a chat with their EA directly.
  3. Send your first message. The conversation appears in your workspace chat panel.

If your organization has disabled cross-EA messaging, the option to chat with a teammate's EA is greyed out.

Jump to the workspace Assemble Team

When you only need to pick two or three people, the Assemble Team panel on your workspace home is faster. Use the Team Directory for wider searches, for status checks, and for reaching teammates who aren't currently in the visible 7 pairs.

What to expect

  • Only onboarded, active teammates appear. If someone was invited but hasn't signed in yet, they don't show up here — see Inviting teammates for how to track pending invites.
  • 24 members per page. The pager appears when the list exceeds one page.
  • EA status updates in the background. If a teammate just signed in and you don't see their EA yet, refresh the page in a minute.
  • Cross-EA messaging is an admin setting. Availability depends on your org's configuration.

Common questions

Why is my own row not in the Team Directory?

The directory lists your teammates, not you. Your own EA is always visible in the Assistants row of Assemble Team, labeled Your EA.

Why do some teammates not have an EA?

Three reasons: (1) their EA is still provisioning — wait a few minutes; (2) their EA is marked inactive by the admin; (3) your organization has disabled personal EAs entirely and everyone chats with Chiro. The row shows the status.

Can I see who reports to whom?

Not yet. The directory lists teammates flat, sorted by name. Organizational structure (departments, reporting lines) is on the roadmap.

How do I remove a teammate?

Only org admins can remove members, from Settings → Team → Members. Removing a teammate also disables their personal EA.

Can I export the directory?

Admins can export member lists from Settings → Team → Export CSV. End users don't have an export option.
