Google Workspace

Connection details
- Ingestion method: Polling (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
- Auth: OAuth 2.0 — access token (1 hour) + refresh token
- Events ingested: Emails, file modifications, calendar events
What Chiro sees
Emails in your primary inbox, files recently modified in your Drive, and calendar events created or updated.
How to connect
- Sign in to your organization dashboard.
- Open the Integrations tab.
- Find Google Workspace in the connector catalog and click Connect.
- Complete the OAuth flow — you will be redirected to Google Workspace to authorize access.
- On success the status changes to Active.
If the connector enters an Error state, click Reconnect to re-run the OAuth flow with a fresh token.
Technical notes
Google requires access_type=offline and prompt=consent to issue a refresh token. Polling runs on a scheduled Agenda interval; there is no real-time push for Google in v1.
Limits
Shared drives and other users' files are not polled. Chiro sees only the account used during authorization.
